Last October, Eastside Village was the first aging-in-place “Village” to open in Portland as one of seven under the regional Villages NW non-profit hub. With two more opening later this year, it’s time to learn more.

Below, Ray Suarez of PBS Newshour has the story of the Villages movement, which started in Boston over a dozen years ago.
